Across The Miles

Across the miles l left my heart, with you eternally,
l knew that l had found the one, that was meant to be.

Across the miles l fell in love, with all my heart and soul,
for only you, held the power to complete me and be whole.

Across the miles l wish l was, at this very minute,
for my life is not complete, unless I have you in it.

Across the miles, we both see stars, high up in the sky,
much brighter now than they once were, for it's you I can't deny.

Across the miles is my true love, he has my heart and soul,
these feelings deep inside of me, l surely can't control.

Across the miles, he's all l want, he keeps my heart with him,
and if l lose him to another, my life would be so grim.

Across the miles, l must rejoin, my heart, and mind as well,
for without his love, l can't survive, surely he can tell.

Across the miles, l must go, and be complete once more,
l'll never ever leave again, the one that I adore.
